Herbal Medicine for Respiratory Health

From recurrent infections to chronic cough, sinusitis and post-viral lingering symptoms — respiratory conditions respond well to a targeted herbal approach. We combine antimicrobial, expectorant and immune-supporting herbs with longer-term mucosal and immune resilience work.

01 · The practice

Persistent fatigue and recurrent infections share the same roots.

From recurrent infections to chronic cough, sinusitis and post-viral lingering symptoms — respiratory conditions respond well to a targeted herbal approach. We combine antimicrobial, expectorant and immune-supporting herbs with longer-term mucosal and immune resilience work.

Working with a registered PAEAN practitioner means a tailored protocol that addresses the underlying cause, not just the symptoms.

“Around 80% of the world’s population uses herbal medicine as part of their primary healthcare.”

Safety note

Adaptogens (Withania, Rhodiola, Ginseng) and immune herbs (Echinacea, Astragalus) can interact with immunosuppressants, thyroid medication, anti-anxiety drugs and stimulants. If you have an autoimmune condition or take immunosuppressants, only use these herbs under the guidance of a registered herbalist who is coordinating with your specialist.

05 · Frequently asked

Questions about energy and immune support.

Can herbs replace antibiotics?

For viral infections, antibiotics are not effective anyway — herbs are the better option. For confirmed bacterial infections, antibiotics may be necessary; herbs support recovery.

What about chronic cough?

Chronic cough has many causes (reflux, post-nasal drip, asthma, drug side effects). Investigation is essential. Herbs may help once cause is identified.

Is this suitable for asthma?

Herbal medicine can complement — but never replace — prescribed asthma inhalers. Always continue conventional treatment.

Can I book online from anywhere in the UK?

Yes — consultations are offered by video and home visits are available in selected areas.
