When the nervous system is held in alert too long, it loses the capacity to power down at night. Both ends of the day need attention. Our practitioners use a combination of adaptogens, nervines, sleep-supportive herbs and lifestyle work to bring the system back into rhythm.

Frequently asked
Can I take herbs alongside antidepressants or anxiolytics?
Often, yes — with care. Some combinations need attention (St John’s wort especially). Your practitioner will only prescribe combinations they’re confident in, and will work with your GP where helpful.
Are these herbs habit-forming?
No. Unlike benzodiazepines, the herbs we use don’t produce dependence. Many actually become less necessary over time as the nervous system relearns its baseline.
Will I feel sedated?
A good prescription should calm you, not flatten you. If anything in your prescription dulls focus during the day, your practitioner will adjust.
How quickly should I expect to sleep better?
Many clients notice a difference within the first 2–3 weeks. Stable, durable change usually takes 6–12 weeks of work.
