Every practitioner in the PAEAN network is registered with the relevant UK professional body and holds qualifications from a recognised institution. The bodies below regulate, accredit, and hold our team accountable.
NIMH
National Institute of Medical Herbalists
The UK’s largest professional body for medical herbalists, established 1864. Members hold a BSc-level qualification in Herbal Medicine and complete a regulated training pathway including 500+ supervised clinical hours.
Practitioners are bound by a published code of ethics, carry professional indemnity insurance, and undertake mandatory continuing professional development.
ARH
Alliance of Registered Homeopaths
An accredited register for professional homeopaths in the UK and Ireland. Members complete a recognised four-year training and meet ongoing competency standards verified through the Professional Standards Authority.
Practitioners follow a published code of ethics, carry indemnity insurance, and submit to a complaints and disciplinary process.
RCHM
Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine
The principal body for Chinese herbal medicine practitioners in the UK. Membership requires BSc-level training in TCM, supervised clinical hours, and adherence to strict herb-quality and prescribing standards.
Practitioners maintain CPD, carry insurance, and follow a code of practice covering everything from herb sourcing to record-keeping.

Our nutritional therapists are typically registered with BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC. Our CBT and mindfulness therapists hold BACP or BABCP registration. Acupuncturists are registered with the BAcC.
