Chinese medicine
Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture from RCHM-registered practitioners. Pattern-based diagnosis and bespoke formulas drawn from a 2,000-year clinical tradition.

Overview
Pattern-based, formula-based, deeply individualised
Traditional Chinese medicine reads the body as a system of patterns — heat and cold, deficiency and excess, organ relationships, qi and blood. Our Chinese medicine practitioners diagnose the pattern, then prescribe a herbal formula (or acupuncture protocol) tailored to it. Cases that defy conventional categorisation often resolve when seen through this lens.
How our practitioners work
How our Chinese medicine practitioners work
01
Pattern diagnosis
Pulse, tongue, history, presenting symptoms. Our practitioners use the full traditional toolkit to read the case.

03
Acupuncture (where useful)
Where in-person treatment is available and indicated, acupuncture protocols complement the herbal work.

Dietary and seasonal guidance rooted in TCM theory — the everyday work that keeps results stable.

Conditions we commonly support

Frequently asked
Is Chinese herbal medicine safe?
In the hands of an RCHM-registered practitioner, yes. They are trained to identify and avoid problematic herbs and check interactions with conventional medications.
Can I have acupuncture as well as herbs?
Yes, where in-person sessions are available in your area. Many of our clients combine both. Acupuncture is also offered standalone for certain pain and stress cases.
Will the formulas taste bad?
Honestly — sometimes. Granule formulas are easier than raw herbs. Your practitioner will work with you to find a form you can stick with.
Is this safe with my prescriptions?
Usually yes; some interactions exist (particularly with anticoagulants). Your practitioner will only prescribe combinations they are confident in.
