CBT & mindfulness

Online CBT and mindfulness sessions with qualified therapists. A complement to herbal and holistic care, or a standalone route for clients whose work is primarily psychological.

Overview

Talk-based work that fits beside our other therapies

Our CBT and mindfulness practitioners work with the patterns talk-based therapy is best at: anxiety loops, low mood, sleep, stress, perfectionism, grief and bereavement. Some clients use it on its own; many combine it with herbal or homeopathic care so the inside-and-outside work compounds.

How our therapists work

Pragmatic, evidence-led, collaborative

01

CBT for anxiety and low mood

Structured cognitive-behavioural work for generalised anxiety, panic, low mood and burnout. Six- to twelve-session blocks are typical.

02

Mindfulness-based approaches

MBCT and MBSR-style training for clients who want a longer-term relationship with attention, breathing and the way they meet stress.

03

Sleep and worry protocols

Targeted protocols for insomnia and rumination — often the fastest single thing to change in a complex picture.

04

Coordinated with other care

If you are also seeing a herbalist or homeopath in the network, your therapist coordinates so the work points the same direction.

What to expect

From first session to last

01

Free 15-min discovery call

A short conversation to confirm fit and match you with the right therapist for your case.

02

60-min initial session

Goal-setting, history, and a written outline of the protocol your therapist proposes.

03

Weekly or fortnightly sessions

Most clients book 6–12 sessions, weekly to start, fortnightly as work consolidates.

04

Review and discharge

A defined endpoint with relapse-prevention work, not an open-ended commitment.

Frequently asked

Is CBT covered by insurance?

Some UK insurers cover BABCP-registered or BACP-registered therapists. Check with your insurer; we provide a receipt with our therapist’s registration details.

Is this NHS-equivalent CBT?

Many of our therapists also work in the NHS. The protocols are the same; the difference is that our sessions are paced to your schedule with no waiting list.

Can I combine CBT with herbal medicine?

Yes. Many clients do. The therapists know what each other is doing and coordinate where helpful.

Will you tell my GP?

Only with your explicit consent. We can write a clear update to your GP on request.
